Mirko Basic (1960), is a former Yugoslav/Croatian handball goalkeeper.
In 1984 he was a member of the Yugoslav handball team which won the gold medal on OG in Los Angeles. Four years later (1988) he was part of the Yugoslavian national team which won the bronze medal on OG in Seoul.
With national team of Yugoslavia, he won the gold medal on WCh 1986 in Switzerland and silver medal on WCh 1982 in Germany.
With RK “Metalopastika” (Sabac) he won ECh League in 1985 and 1986.
He also played for Vénissieux (FRA), RK Partizan Bjelovar, RK Medveščak, RK Badel Zagreb (CRO), RK Krško (SLO) and Fotex Veszprem (HUN)
