The apparent progress in Swiss Handball in recent years has been accompanied by increased interest from the young people. Successes of the national team, as well as the excellent performances of A. Schmid, A. Milosevic, N. Portner in the best leagues of the world, confirm that handball really does not recognize the borders and classification into “talented nations”.
That was a challenge for a young but already very successful man like is Nikola Portner – Ch League winner in the 2017/18 season with Montpellier – to start “Handball No Limit” project. Considering that he is one of the most talented goalkeepers in the entire handball world, but also someone who is descended from one of the famous handball families (his father Zlatko won almost everything that could be won in handball and played in the best clubs in the planet), we are sure that can be used like an example for young people to follow.
All these facts were a reason for us who make “Handball4all” – Klaus Feldman (GER), Nenad Sostaric (CRO) and Dragan Djukic (SRB), to recognize the importance of this project and support the first edition of “Handball No Limit” with our own presence and work with attendees.
The beautiful Swiss mountains and the excellent conditions provided by the Leysin Sports Centre, hosted the first edition gathering the children from all over Switzerland from 28.07. to 03.08. 2019. and undivided opinion is that everything was perfect, and will become a traditional place for some new handball lovers.
