[:en]Beginning in November, a truly historic step was taken in European coach education. For the first time in handball 13 experts from all over Europe were promoted to the academic title of EHF Master Coach. To avoid terminological confusion, all of them already previously had an EHF Master Coach diploma, but by continuing their education in a special – for the first-time organized project of EHF and the University of Las Palmas (ESP), they became generation “zero” by successfully defending their theses.
One of them was Dragan Djukic (SRB), the founder and the creator of our Academy, whose work – entitled “Preparation for a Game from a Different Perspective” – attracted a special attention of the commission and was a topic of exhaustive discussion, because it brought without dilemma a new and different – conceptual approach to this area.
